B.M. Violin Performance, Cleveland Institute of Music. M.M. Violin Performance, University of Akron. Alicia is a professional violinist with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Pops, and Tucson Chamber Artists. She also teaches violin and viola to students of all ages. Her teaching experience also includes being an orchestra teacher at the Flowing Wells School District and at Miles Exploratory School in TUSD. She is currently a Kindergarten OMA (Opening Minds Through the Arts) teaching artist with TUSD and has been with OMA for the past 11 years. Alicia was first introduced to Music Together® when she took her daughter to classes taught by her husband. As a musician, she appreciates the quality of the arrangements of all the songs in Music Together, and as an educator, Alicia loves the philosophy and methodology behind the program. As a parent, she loves how Music Together can open up many more ways to interact and play with a child, and how it introduced her to so many wonderful children's songs!
